6:53am While watching the site N adult, I saw disturbance its right-wing secondary
feathers. This could be head movement from a brooded chick.

6:57am Site N chick seen. Initially just its beak (with egg tooth visible) was seen
under the adult. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Landmark Trust, I'm naming this
year's chicks after Landmark Trust properties. Chick N will be "Nicolle", after
Nicolle Tower in Jersey.

7:26am Nicolle seen.

7:28am Adult flew into site N with a fish. Nicolle not hungry.

  • Landmark Trust - Nicolle Tower, St Clement, Jersey Nicolle Tower began as a single storey signal box built before 1792. Then, soon after 1821, Philippe Nicolle converted it into a two-storey folly. The third floor was added in 1943 by the Germans to make an observation point.
